How to Make a Tie Dye Az Cardinals Shirt
Looking for a creative and fun way to show your support for the Arizona Cardinals? Why not make your own tie dye shirt! Tie dye is a great activity for all ages and can be done with items you likely already have at home.
Plus, it’s a fun way to show off your team spirit! Here’s how to make a tie dye Arizona Cardinals shirt: What You’ll Need:
-White t-shirt (100% cotton works best) -Tie dye kit or 1 bottle of red food coloring, 1 bottle of yellow food coloring, and 1/2 cup of white vinegar +1/4 cup of salt
-Plastic bags or plastic wrap -Rubber bands -Large bowl or bucket
Instructions: 1. Begin by mixing together the red and yellow food colorings in one bowl, and the vinegar and salt in another bowl. Set both bowls aside.
2. If using a tie dye kit, mix together the colors according to the instructions on the package. Set this mixture aside as well. 3. Next, dampen your t-shirt with water until it’s slightly wet but not dripping.
This will help the color absorb better. 4. Once dampened, wring out any excess water from the shirt so that it’s just slightly damp – not soaking wet. 5. To start tying your shirt, fold it in half lengthwise so that the sleeves are touching each other in the middle. Then, fold it in half again widthwise so that the bottom hem meets up with the neckline in the middle. You should now have a long rectangle shape with four layers of fabric. 6begin tightly rolling up your rectangle from one end until you reach the other end – think like you would roll up a sleeping bag or poster tube . Once rolled up completely , use rubber bands to secure everything in place at various intervals along the “tube” . Be sure to leave some slack near each band so that there is room for dye to get inside and color those sections too! 7Now dip small sections of your tied up fabric into either your homemade colors or commercial tie dye kit colors , being careful not squeeze out too much excess liquid before bringing it back over to your work surface .

The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team based in Glendale, Arizona. The Cardinals compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) West division. The Cardinals were founded as the Morgan Athletic Club in 1898, and are the oldest continuously run professional football team in the United States.
The Cardinals play their home games at State Farm Stadium, which opened in 2006 and is located in Glendale. The team was established in Chicago in 1898 and was a charter member of the NFL in 1920. Along with the Chicago Bears, the club is one of two franchises still existing from that inaugural season.
They moved to St. Louis, Missouri for 28 years between 1960 and 1987 before moving back to Arizona prior to the start of 1988 season . The franchise has won two NFL championships , both while it was based in Chicago . The tie-dye fad began during summer of 1967; young people dyed their clothing using household items such as food coloring or Kool-Aid packets.
.Tie-dyeing spread quickly through colleges across America during spring break 1968 . It became very popular among Baby Boomers who were college students or recent graduates during late 60s and early 70s..
In 1972, San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury district became ground zero for tie-dye culture when thousands flocked there for “Summer of Love” . From there it made its way down south to Los Angeles where rock bands such as Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane often sported tie dyed T shirts onstage..
By early 1970s , psychedelic folk singer Janis Joplin popularized tie dyeing by wearing it on stage during her performances.. She even had a line of her own signature tie dye available for purchase.
.In 1971 British rock band Led Zeppelin released their fourth album which featured artwork with an intricate design that incorporated many colors including orange, yellow and purple; this too helped increase popularity of tie dyeing With so much popularity came mass production which resulted decreased prices making it affordable for everyone.. This allowed Tie Dye to become mainstream fashion rather than just being associated with hippies or counterculture.. In late 1990s , Tie Dye once again surged in popularity due partly because many baby boomers were now raising children of their own who wanted to participatein similar activities they did when they were younger .. Another contributing factor was increased availability online since internet use was becoming more widespread..
