The best spray paint for cast iron depends on heat. For garden furniture, gates and décor, use a rust-inhibiting enamel spray (for example Rust-Oleum Stops Rust or a hammered metal finish). For radiators, use a heat-resistant radiator enamel. For stoves, fire pits and grills, use a high-heat paint rated for the temperature. Never paint the cooking surface of cast-iron cookware – season it instead.
